About G & G Music Company

The Company

G & G Music was founded in 1954 by two band directors in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The company expanded into Duncan and Lawton in the mid-1980’s under the ownership of Charles and Dana Middleton.  The Lawton location became the only store in 1992 and focused on beginning school band instruments, pianos, karaoke tapes and print music.

Our Mission

G & G Music Company will strive to put music into the lives of everyone in southwest Oklahoma in the following ways:

Sale of quality musical instruments: Each product offered for lease or purchase will be of the highest quality standards for function as intended by the manufacturer and expected by the customer without regard to price.

Facilitate others: This Company will assist others in any manner necessary to promote, encourage, educate and entertain or otherwise improve the life of the residents of Lawton and southwest Oklahoma with the joys that are found with music and the arts.

Service: the staff, management and owners will serve on community boards and committees to promote music and the arts in Lawton and southwest Oklahoma.

Dana Middleton The most familiar face around the store, Dana had piano lessons as a kid and played alto saxophone in the Duncan school band. Dana is a real customer driven manager that will work hard to find the product or service you need.	Charles Middleton Charles also had piano as a child and played clarinet in the Ardmore school band.  He works outside the business but can be found helping out from time-to-time.  If you want a real nuts and bolts sales presentation on pianos, Charles is the one.
Dallas A familiar face at the store for customers and piano students is Dallas, a miniature dachshund that's people and music friendly. She's a pretty little girl that has a boyfriend picked out already. She came from Cedar Hills Dachshunds in Sagle, Idaho.(www.cedarhillsdachshunds.com).
