At G & G School of Music, we specialize in piano, guitar, vocal, strings and band instruments. Summer classes are available for all ages in instruction groups for guitar and piano and private lessons for guitar, piano, voice, and other instruments. Our schedules are flexible enough to fit any busy lifestyle.

How expensive are music lessons?
Lessons are from $55-65 a month depending on the teacher.
How old does my child have to be to begin playing piano?
I say the child needs to be at least 4-5 and be able to sit still and listen/participate for at least 20 minutes. Its not always about age -- some 4 year olds are ready while some 7 year olds are not. You can sign up for a free trial lesson and find out what the teachers think.
Do I have to participate in a recital?
No, but it is an opportunity to perform for parents. Recitals are fun and not too scary. We always have refreshments afterward, and students get to dress up.

School Scheduling begins in January. Enroll now to get on our school schedule. Enrolling students in piano, vocal, guitar, band instruments, and strings. Ask about availability as far as band instruments go.

Every teacher is different about missing a lesson. If you give 24 hour notice most teachers will find a way to make it up. If you just don't don't show up then you have paid for the time the teacher waits on you. Paying at the beginning of the month ensures that you keep your spot even if you don't show up.
What if I don't like my instructor?
From years of piano teaching, I have found that not all students click with every teacher. At G&G Music we have at least 2 teachers for every instrument. If you don't like your instructor, talk to one of the staff at the desk, and we will see about setting you up with another teacher.
